Bellfields Road Improvements

Work is planned to take place in the summer of 2025. 

Project Details

Bellfields Road is currently a cul-de-sac but will soon become one of the key access roads into the new development, ultimately connecting to a larger road network. To prepare for this several improvements are planned:

• On-street parking will be reorganised. New parking bays will be added on Parsons Green to accommodate two-way traffic.
• A raised table near Weyfield Academy will help slow traffic and improve safety for pedestrians.
• A new footway will be installed across Parsons Green, making it easier and safer to walk through the area.
• A dedicated drop-off point will be introduced at Bellfields School to reduce congestion.
• Bollards will be installed to prevent vehicles from parking on footways and keep pedestrian zones safe.

• Duration: Approximately 9 weeks (subject to weather conditions)
