Depot Road Junction Improvements

This project is not due to start until 2027

Project details

The current depot road will be upgraded to become a key route designed for buses, cyclists, and pedestrians. The new route will connect Woking Road through the site to Moorfield Road.

• The current bus lane will be extended into the Phase 3 development site, improving public transport links for residents and visitors.
• A new pedestrian crossing will be installed just south of the depot junction, creating a safer way to cross Woking Road and improving access to the nearby towpath.
• Landscaping with trees and rain gardens to improve the look and feel of the area.
