Common Land replacement works

Introduction

The Planning Inspectorate has approved plans to swap an area of common land known as Stringers Common. The new area of Common Land is 1,998m2. and runs parallel to Jacobs Well Road and adjoins Stringers Common.

The decision by the Planning Inspector marks a significant milestone for the regeneration. Work has started on the new area of Common Land.

Work programme

The work includes the careful cultivation of hedgerows, trees, and other planting. This will create a healthy and sustainable environment.

The work is being carried out by our contractor Winvic. It will take place during the hours of 8.00 am to 5.30 pm and will be carried out to minimise disruption.

Work started on 2nd April 2024 and will take approximately four to six weeks.
